Glide is a census-designated place (CDP) in Douglas County, Oregon, United States. The population was 1,795 at the 2010 census.[4]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 10.2sqmi, of which 10.1sqmi is land and 0.1sqmi, or 0.59%, is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,690 people, 624 households, and 484 families in the CDP. The population density was 167.3sp=usNaNsp=us. There were 675 housing units at an average density of 66.8sp=usNaNsp=us. The racial makeup of the CDP was 99.99% White, and 0.01% other.
Of the 624 households 36.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.9% were married couples living together, 7.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.4% were non-families. 18.1% of households were one person and 6.9% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.71 and the average family size was 3.06.
