Gimesia Explained
Gimesia is a genus of bacteria from the family of Planctomycetaceae with nine known species.[1] Gimesia maris has been isolated from neritic water from Puget Sound in the United States.[2]
Phylogeny
The currently accepted taxonomy is based on the List of Prokaryotic names with Standing in Nomenclature (LPSN)[3] and National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)[4]
