Gildas Bourdais (June 13, 1939 – September 25, 2024[1]) was a publishing executive, painter, and French ufologist writer, supporter of the “extraterrestrial hypothesis” (HET).

Biography

After preparatory classes at the Lycée Louis-le-Grand, he graduated from HEC Paris (1960–1962).[2]

His research focused in particular on the Roswell incident, on stories of extraterrestrial apparitions in major religious texts, and on the COMETA report.

He is also a translator and translated several books on ufology from different authors, including the American ufologists Roger Leir and Leslie Kean.

He collaborates with Top Secret magazine and regularly appears on radio Ici et Maintenant !.[3]
