Ghana Christian University College Explained
Ghana Christian University College,[1] formerly known as Ghana Christian College and Seminary, is a private tertiary institution in Ghana. It was established in 1966 by independent Christian missionaries from the United States.[2] It is located at Amrahia in the Adentan Municipality in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.[3] The initial purpose of establishing the university was to train missionary workers in Sub-Saharan Africa. The first and main program offered was Theological studies.[4] [5]
The university is accredited to offer programs in theology, development management, allied health, business, nursing, science, and technology.
Organization and administration
The university's administration is led by the president, or principal, who serves as the chief executive officer (CEO). The administrative team also includes the Vice President and the University College Council, which oversees the academic and financial management of the institution.
