German Township is one of ten townships in Marshall County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 8,937 (up from 8,902 at 2010[2]) and it contained 3,504 housing units.
German Township was organized in 1838, and named for the fact the township originally was settled chiefly by Germans.[3]
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which (or 99.00%) is land and (or 1.00%) is water.[2]
