George Boult Explained

George T. Boult was an English cricketer of the late 18th century who was a member of the Hambledon Club.

Boult was an amateur player who was involved in organising matches. He played for Berkshire sides between 1783 and 1785[1] before being elected as a member of the Hambledon Club in 1786. He resigned in 1791 but played for Hampshire teams between 1786 and 1789.[1]

Boult made 20 known first-class appearances from 1786 to 1795, scoring a total of 583 runs, including four half-centuries.[1]
