George Morse Collinsworth (1810–1866) was a Texian soldier, planter, and civil servant. He came to Brazoria County in 1832, during the Revolution, and saw action in the battle of Velasco later that year.[1] He was also involved in the capture the Mexican garrison at Goliad on October 9, 1835.
