Geoffray Steven Durbant (born 19 May 1992) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for UAE First Division League club Fujairah. Born in metropolitan France, he plays for the Guadeloupe national team.
Durbant is a youth academy graduate of Red Star.[2] He made his senior debut on 18 May 2012 as a 69th minute substitute for Cédric Sabin in a 2–0 win against Vannes.[3]
Durbant scored 15 goals for Sedan during 2019–20 Championnat National 2 season and was league top scorer when the competition was terminated due to COVID-19 pandemic in April 2020.[4] In June 2020, he joined Bastia-Borgo.[5]
On 7 June 2021, Laval announced the signing of Durbant on a two-year deal.[6] He helped the club achieve promotion in his first season, winning the Championnat National.
On 21 July 2023, Durbant joined Châteauroux.[7]
Born in France, Durbant represents Guadeloupe at international level. He received his maiden call-up to the Guadeloupe national team in November 2019.[8] He made his debut on 18 November by scoring two goals in a 10–0 CONCACAF Nations League win against the Turks and Caicos Islands.[9]
Durbant is of Guadeloupean and Vietnamese descent.[10] His brother Dylan is also a footballer and plays as a goalkeeper.[11] Their father is from Capesterre-Belle-Eau.[12]
In 2022, Durbant married Olympic silver medalist rugby player Anne-Cécile Ciofani.[13]
