Gaushla Engineering Campus (Nepali: गौशाला ईन्जिनियरिङ् क्याम्पस) is one of the two constituent campuses under the central university, Rajarshi Janak University. It is the first and the only government engineering campus in Madhesh Province.[1]
While the college is currently running engineering courses only in civil engineering while plans to expand to computer, electronics and electrical engineering in near future.[2]
Gaushala Engineering Campus is located in Gayshala, Mahottari some 40 km North west of Janakpur, the capital city of Madhesh Province.[3]
Rajarshi Janak University established Gaushala Engineering Campus in 2023 BS with ambitious plan to produce engineering manpower in the region. For the first batch, the campus started only with 48 seats for Bachelor in Civil Engineering program. The campus has programs at bachelor level and plans to expand the facilities in future to even start master level programs.[4]
