Agapiya (Russian: Ага́пия, from Greek, Ancient (to 1453);: Ἀγάπη) is an old and uncommon[1] Russian Christian female first name.[2] Its masculine version is Agapy. Its colloquial form is Ogapiya (Russian: Ога́пия).[3] The substandard colloquial form Agapeya (Russian: Агапе́я) was also used.
The diminutives of "Agapiya" are Agapa (Russian: Ага́па), Gapa (Russian: Га́па), Ganya (Russian: Га́ня), Gasya (Russian: Га́ся), Aga (Russian: А́га), and Agasha (Russian: Ага́ша).
