Gastrochilus acutifolius explained
Gastrochilus acutifolius is a species of orchid found in Assam (India), eastern Himalayas, Nepal, Myanmar and Vietnam.[1] [2] The specific epithet, Latin: acutifolius, meaning "thorny leaves", is derived from Latin Latin: acutus (pointed, acute), and Latin: -folius (-leaved), and refers to the characteristic shape of the leaves.[3]
