Tristagma Explained

Tristagma is a genus of South American plants in the onion subfamily with the Amaryllis family.[1] It includes 17 species native to Peru, Argentina, and Chile in South America.

Formerly included

Several names have been coined using the name Tristagma but referring to species now considered better suited other genera including Ipheion, Leucocoryne, and Nothoscordum.[2]
