GO25 Irvington-Newark explained

The GO25 Irvington-Newark is a bus route operated by New Jersey Transit in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Buses heading north from Irvington Bus Terminal along Springfield Avenue, and Market Street to Newark Penn Station via Newark and Irvington. It makes limited stops at eleven points between Newark Penn Station and Irvington Bus Terminal which is a minor thoroughfare.[1] The GO25 bus was essentially part of Route 25 when it was created in 2008.

History

The GO25 bus route was created in September 2, 2008.[2] [3] It began operating between Irvington Bus Terminal and Newark Penn Station with limited stops between the both destinations. The GO25 has weekday peak hour service only. No weekend services operated on GO25. The GO25 does not do Saturday or Sunday service as those days are weekend service. The GO25 operates Monday-Friday service every day. The GO25 is almost similar to the Route 25 from Maplewood to Doremus Ave in Newark, but with only a small number of limited stops, it only runs from Irvington Bus Terminal and Newark Penn Station.

Operation Times/Schedule

The GO25 starts operating from 7:00 AM to 6:05 PM to/from Irvington Bus Terminal and 6:30 AM - 5:35 PM to/from Newark Penn Station all weekday services only.
