The film is produced by Sigma Films and Anton for release by Sky Cinema.
After an undetonated bomb from World War II is uncovered at a London construction site, the chaos of the subsequent evacuation and bomb disarming provides excellent cover to conduct a nearby bank heist.
Fuze was written by Ben Hopkins, and the project was taken to the 2024 European Film Market with plans for David Mackenzie to direct and Aaron Taylor-Johnson to star. Giles Nuttgens was also attached as director of photography for the project.[1] Theo James was then added to the cast.[2] In July 2024, Sam Worthington, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Elham Ehsas and Honor Swinton Byrne joined the cast. Sky Cinema announced that it would distribute the film theatrically in the United Kingdom and Ireland.[3]
Principal photography began on 9 July 2024, in London.[4]
