Aki Onoda, Ryō Sobue, and Yūta Inohara, are childhood friends attending the elementary school. They investigate the Shinto shrine in the island cave, where they meet Fureru, a yellow tailed hedgehog, and adopt it as a pet. When they touch each other and hear their inner voices, they are caught by Fureru's magical power within the fur. In the aftermath, the trio notice that they can "no longer hear their inner voices and they are supposed to touch each other". As their hidden power of "touch" becomes clear, their friendship begins to waver. Ten years later, Fureru and the trio move to Takadanobaba in Shinjuku, Tokyo. There, they keep a fashion student Nana Asakawa, and their bodyguard Juri Kamozawa, away from a stalker.
The film was revealed in December 2023, with Nagai serving as a director and Okada as a writer.[1] It premiered on October 4, 2024. The theme song "Monotone" is performed by Yoasobi.[2] [3]
