Frederick Adolph Roethlisberger (born February 28, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin[1]) is an American former gymnastics coach and athlete. He was a member of the United States men's national artistic gymnastics team and competed in gymnastics at the 1968 Summer Olympics. Later, he became the gymnastics coach for Minnesota's "Golden Gophers" for 33 years.[2] He was inducted to the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame in 1990.[1] His son, John Roethlisberger, is a three-time Olympian.[1]
