Firebird Grid Explained
The
Firebird Grid is a German single-place,
paraglider that was designed and produced by
Firebird Sky Sports AG of
Füssen in the mid-2000s. It is now out of production.

The Grid was designed as an intermediate glider. The models are each named for their relative size.[1]
Variants
- Grid S
Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 11.361NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 24.41m2, 50 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.29:1. The pilot weight range is 65to. The glider model is DHV 1-2 certified.[1]
- Grid M
Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 11.91NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 26.77m2, 50 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.29:1. The pilot weight range is 80to. The glider model is DHV 1-2 certified.[1]
