Festival of the Living Dead is a 2024 American zombie film directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska and starring Ashley Moore and Camren Bicondova. It is a spiritual sequel to George Romero's Night of the Living Dead.[1] [2]

Plot

Best friends Iris and Ash are hanging out commemorating their childhood and making plans for Ash’s birthday. Then Ash’s friends which Iris refers to as “Kevin’s Friends” come and get scared by Ash’s little brother. They meet Ash and make plans to leave her little brother with Iris and go to the festival of the living dead. That’s when Kevin, Ash’s boyfriend, go through a staff entrance in order to avoid the long line. He then swerves to avoid a zombie and everyone’s left battered. Ash, Kevin and Ty then head to the festival where they face zombies and eventually meet Iris, her friend, and Ash’s little brother and have to fight to survive.
