Fabian Piasecki (born 4 May 1995) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Piast Gliwice.[1]
He started his junior career in Sokół Świba, then moved to LZS Olszowa and to Marcinki Kępno. In 2009, he started playing in Polonia Kępno and moved to Górnik Zabrze, where he played until 2013.[2]
In 2013, he was transferred to Rozwój Katowice,[3] where he played in 9 matches. His first appearance as a Rozwój player happened on August 24, 2013 in a winning match with Odra Opole. In Rozwój Katowice he worn a squad number #16. He did not score any goals in the season 2013/2014.[4]
In 2014, he was transferred to Górnik Zabrze II. His first match in Górnik was on September 13, 2014, when he came off the bench in the 55th minute,[5] replacing Bartosz Pikul.[6] He scored his first goal there on April 25, 2015 in a winning match (4:1) with Grunwald Ruda Śląska. In season 2014/2015, he also occassionally appeared in Górnik Zabrze, not scoring any goal.
In 2016, he was transferred to Olimpia Zambrów. He first played a match in Olimpia on August 27, 2016 in a drawn match with Radomiak Radom, when he came off a bench in 70th minute,[7] replacing Jakub Cesarek.[8] He scored his first goal in Olimpia on September 10, 2016, in a winning match with his former team, Rozwój Katowice. In season 2016/2017, he scored 13 goals in total (from which 4 were shot from a penalty kick).
In 2018, he advanced with Miedź Legnica from I liga to Ekstraklasa.[9]
On May 23, 2022, he has been awarded in Gala Ekstraklasy with a statuette in the category "Goal of the Season" for a goal he scored in the match with Piast Gliwice.[10]
In June 2022, Piasecki was transferred to Raków Częstochowa for €200.000, with his contract lasting 4 years.[11] His first appearance on Raków was on July 15, 2022 in a winning match with Warta Poznań, when he got off the bench in the 85th minute,[12] replacing Vladislavs Gutkovskis.[13] With Raków Częstochowa, he has achieved the championship of Poland.[14]
On May 29, 2023, he was awarded in the Gala Ekstraklasy in the category "Goal of the Season" for a goal he has scored in the 10th match of the season with Radomiak Radom.[15]
On February 2, 2024, he was transferred to Piast Gliwice on a two-year deal.[16]
