The Women's downhill competition at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2021 was held on 13 February 2021.[1] [2] [3]
Switzerland's Corinne Suter won the gold medal, Kira Weidle of Germany took the silver, and the bronze medalist was Lara Gut-Behrami of Switzerland.[3]
The race course was 2.66km (01.65miles) in length, with a vertical drop of 760m (2,490feet) from a starting elevation of 2320m (7,610feet) above sea level. Suter's winning time of 94.27 seconds yielded an average speed of 101.58km/h and an average vertical descent rate of 8.062m/s.[3]
