Euoplos inornatus explained

Euoplos inornatus is a species of mygalomorph spider in the Idiopidae family. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 1918 by Australian arachnologists William Joseph Rainbow and Robert Henry Pulleine.[1]

Distribution and habitat

The species occurs in south-west Western Australia in open jarrah and marri forest habitats. The type locality is Armadale, now a suburb of Perth.[1]

Behaviour

The spiders are fossorial, terrestrial predators. They construct burrows with thick, plug-like trapdoors.[1]
