Eudesmic acid is an O-methylated trihydroxybenzoic acid.

Natural Occurrence

It can be found in Eucalyptus spp.[1]

Synthesis

Eudesmic acid is most directly synthesized by reaction of gallic acid with dimethyl sulfate.[2]
