Esenler is a village in the Varto District of the Muş Province in east Turkey.[1] As of 2022, it had a population of 314 people. It is located from Varto and from the centre of Muş.

Historical sites

The architectural remains of the Şahmiran Kalesi, a castle from the Urartian period, is approximately southest of the village.[2] [3] The castle is at 39.0895°N 41.872°W.
