Eruption is a 1997 American-Peruvian film directed by Gwyneth Gibby. It was filmed in Peru for Roger Corman's New Horizons.[1] [2]

The film was part of the "disaster boom" that followed the success of Twister.[3]

Premise

An American photographer ventures into the Amazon rainforest in order to interview the revolutionary leader who opposes a Latin American regime.
