Eric John Filby (31 May 1917 – 9 December 2004) was a male English international table tennis and lawn tennis player.^[1]

He won a bronze medal at the 1938 World Table Tennis Championships in the men's doubles with Hyman Lurie.^{[2] [3]}

In 1950 he moved from Norfolk to Croydon.^[4]

Filby played in the 1955 Wimbledon Championships – Men's Singles.^[5]
