Empetrichthyinae Explained
Empetrichthyinae is a subfamily of fishes, one of two subfamilies that make up the family Goodeidae.[1]
The earliest fossil empetrichthyine is Empetrichthys erdisi from the Miocene or Pliocene of California.[2] [3]
