Emmett Brown (born August 18, 2003) is an American football quarterback for the San Jose State Spartans. He previously played for the Washington State Cougars.
Brown attended San Marcos High School located in San Marcos, California. Coming out of high school, Brown decided to join the Washington State Cougars to play college football as a preferred walk-on.[2] [3]
In Brown's first collegiate season in 2022, he would use the season to redshirt and did not appear in any games.[4] During the 2023 season, Brown played in just one game completing two of his four passes for 14 yards and an interception.[5] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Brown decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal.[6] [7]
Brown decided to transfer to play for the San Jose State Spartans.[8] [9] Brown opened the 2024 season as the team's starter where in week one, he 20 of his 34 pass attempts for 298 yards and three touchdowns in a win.[10] In week two, Brown completed 17 of his 32 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns, as he helped San Jose State to a win over Air Force.[11]
