The film received negative reviews from critics and has rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on reviews with an average rating of .^[6] Nell Minow of RogerEbert.com awarded the film one and a half out of four stars.^[7] Tara McNamara of Common Sense Media awarded the film two stars out of five.^[8]
