Eliomys Explained
Eliomys (Greek, Ancient (to 1453);: Ἡλίομυς Hēlíomus) is a genus of rodent in the family Gliridae, commonly known as garden dormice.
It contains the following extant species:
The earliest records of the genus are known from the Late Miocene (Tortonian) of the Iberian Peninsula.[1]
