Electoral results for the district of Ryde explained

Ryde, an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of New South Wales, has had four incarnations since it was first established in 1894. It has returned one member for most of its existence, except for the period 1920 to 1927 when it returned five members.[1] [2] [3]
