Elbessos Explained

Elbessos (Greek, Ancient (to 1453);: Έλβησσός) was a town of ancient Lycia, which was mentioned in a treaty between Caesar and the Lycian League.[1] Its site is located on Girdev Gölü, Asiatic Turkey.
