The racial makeup of the CDP was 76.48% White, 0.39% African American, 0.67% Native American, 0.04% Asian, 19.39% from other races, and 3.03% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 98.44% of the population.
There were 2,232 households, out of which 61.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 76.2% were married couples living together, 13.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 6.9% were non-families. 6.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
