East Galena Township is one of twenty-three townships in Jo Daviess County, Illinois, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,283 and it contained 917 housing units.[2]
According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of, of which (or 99.32%) is land and (or 0.68%) is water.[2]
The township contains two cemeteries, Miners Chapel and Saint Michaels.
