Dymer (Ukrainian: Димер, Russian: Дымер) is a rural settlement in Vyshhorod Raion of Kyiv Oblast (province) of Ukraine with a population of It hosts the administration of Dymer settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine.[1]
Clashes occurred here during the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine,[2] when Ukrainian airborne assault troops engaged Russian soldiers at Ivankiv and Dymer.[3] [4] [5] [6] [7]
Until 26 January 2024, Dymer was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Dymer became a rural settlement.[8]
