Dughayi (fa|دوغائي) is a village in, and the capital of, Dughayi Rural District of Abkuh District, Quchan County, Razavi Khorasan province, Iran.[2] The previous capital of the rural district was the village of Almajeq,[3] now a city.[4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,086 in 297 households, when it was in the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,106 people in 293 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,128 people in 347 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[7]

In 2019, the rural district was separated from the district in the formation of Abkuh District.[2]
