Ationg Tituh is a Malaysian politician from Sabah region. He is the one who established and started the Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GAGASAN), and also the inaugural president of the local party since 28 August 2013 until 2021, succeeded by Stephen Jacob Jimbangan, the 2nd president of the local party.[2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] His political party is among the 20 official political parties registered in 2013.[8] [9] Besides that, his party was then taken over by a local Tuaran politician, Hajiji Noor in 2023 and became the largest party in Sabah in terms of the number of single party seats.
He began his political career as a member of People's Justice Front (AKAR) and become a political candidate in 1990 Sabah state election represents the AKAR Party for Kuamut.[10] In 2009, he began to established the Sabah Gagasan Rakyat Party but the party only registered under Registrar of Societies 3 years later in 2013.[11] He officially become an organization founder of Sabah Gagasan Rakyat Party in 2013 and he is very well known among Kinabatangan people as the "first ever president" of the local party that based in Kinabatangan, The Sabah Gagasan Rakyat Party in its establishment in 2013 (Headquartered in Kota Kinabalu). He is also an organization founder of several Sabahan local non-governmental organization since 2014. In 2018 to 2020, he began his action to comeback as political candidate for the Sabah elections after his party got well recognised after many contributions.[12] [13]
