Dolzhansky District (Russian: Должа́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Oryol Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 908.4km2.[3] Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Dolgoye. Population: 11,984 (2010 Census); The population of Dolgoye accounts for 37.1% of the district's total population.
