Diplodonta punctata explained

Diplodonta punctata, or the Atlantic diplodon, is a species of bivalve mollusc in the family Ungulinidae. It can be found along the Atlantic coast of North America, ranging from North Carolina to the West Indies and Bermuda.^[1]
