Diospyros pilosanthera is a tree in the family Ebenaceae.[1] It grows up to 35m (115feet) tall. The twigs are slender to stout. Inflorescences bear up to 12 flowers. The fruits are round to ovoid, up to 3.50NaN0 in diameter. The specific epithet Latin: pilosanthera is from the Latin meaning 'with pilose or hairy anthers'. Habitat is forests from sea level to 1600m (5,200feet) altitude. D. pilosanthera is found from Indochina to Malesia.
