Dhiggaru (Dhivehi: ދިއްގަރު) is one of the inhabited islands of Meemu Atoll.
Geography
The island is 117.850NaN0 south of the country's capital, Malé.[2] The land area of the island is 9.9ha in 2018.[3] The land area is up from 4.61ha in 2007.[4]
Healthcare
Dhiggaru has a pharmacy.[5]
Transport
The enlargement of the island's harbour was contracted to MTCC in 2015 when construction also began,[6] completed in 2016 and inaugurated in 2018.[7] [8]
