Dhaneswar Majhi (5 July 1941 – 9 October 2024) was an Indian politician. He was a Member of Parliament, representing Odisha in the Rajya Sabha the upper house of India's Parliament as a member of the Janata Party.[1] [2] [3] [4]
In the 1971, 1974, 2000, 2004, and 2014 Odisha Vidhansabha elections, Majhi was elected from Kesinga and Narla Vidhan Sabha constituency to the 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, and 15th Odisha Legislative Assemblies respectively.[5]
Majhi died in Kesinga on 9 October 2024, at the age of 83.[6] [7]
