Derek Charles France[1] (born) is a United States Air Force lieutenant general who served as the commander of the Ninth Air Force. He previously served as the commander of Third Air Force.[2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]

In March 2024, France was nominated for promotion to lieutenant general and appointment as commander of the Ninth Air Force.[9] [10]
