Deepak Khadka is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the Nepali Congress, currently serving since 15 July 2024 as the Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation in the cabinet led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.[1] [2] [3]
Khadka is also serving a member of the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. In the 2022 Nepalese general election, he won the election from Sankhuwasabha 1 (constituency).[4] [5] In November 2016, Khadka also served as a cabinet minister and was appointed Minister of State for Water Supply and Sanitation of Government of Nepal.[6] Khadka was a member of the 2nd Nepalese Constituent Assembly. He won the election from Sankhuwasabha–2 constituency in the 2013 Nepalese Constituent Assembly election.[7] [8] [9]
