David Wayne Kilson (born August 11, 1960) is a former American football defensive back who played for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Sacramento City College and Nevada-Reno; he was a two-time letterwinner during his time at the University of Nevada-Reno.[1] [2] [3] His 87-yard fumble recovery that was returned for a touchdown on September 25, 1983, is the longest fumble return in Bills history.[4] [5] Kilson also holds the single season record for most fumble recovery yards in Bills history which was set during his 1983 rookie season with 88 fumble recovery yards off of 3 fumble recoveries.[6] [7]

In 2003, Kilson was inducted into the Sacramento City College Hall of Fame for the sport of football [8] [9]
