Dastgerdan District (Persian: بخش دستگردان) is a former administrative division of Tabas County, South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital was the city of Eshqabad.[2]

History

Tabas County became a part of Yazd province in 2001.[3] It was separated from the province to join South Khorasan province in 2013.[4]

In July 2024, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Eshqabad County.[5]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 11,659 in 3,246 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 10,826 people in 3,284 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 10,255 inhabitants in 3,350 households.[8]
