Dareyn (fa|درين) is a village in, and the capital of, Dareyn Rural District of Bafruiyeh District of Meybod County, Yazd province, Iran.[2]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 127 in 36 households, when it was in Bafruiyeh Rural District of the Central District.[3] The following census in 2011 counted 169 people in 51 households.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 150 people in 45 households,[5] by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Bafruiyeh District. Dareyn was transferred to Surk Rural District created in the new district.[2]
