Daniel Bueno Vorcaro is a Brazilian investment banker and businessman born in Belo Horizonte.[1] He is known for investments in companies in Brazil, particularly in the healthcare, retail, and technology sectors and involvement in Brazilian football.[2] [3]
Danile Vorcaro was born in Belo Horizonte in Brazil. He obtained a MBA from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (IBMEC) in 2007.
Daniel Vorcaro assumed the presidency of Banco Master in 2018. Under his leadership, the bank changed its name from Banco Máxima to Banco Master and expanded its operations to include an investment brokerage. Additionally, he founded Banco Master of Investment and holds a stake in Kovr Seguradora.[4]
Vorcaro is the largest shareholder of Biomm, a pharmaceutical company from Minas Gerais that saw its shares rise 67% on the stock exchange after announcing an agreement to bring a similar to the medication Ozempic to Brazil starting in 2026. Additionally, Vorcaro will have a seat on Biomm's board and has nominated Pedro Mesquita, former head of XP's investment bank, to join the board.[5]
In 2022, Vorcaro acquired a stake in Restoque, now renamed Veste S.A. Estilo. Through WNT Capital, he supported the conversion of R$ 1.6 billion of debt into equity and approved a capital increase of R$ 100 million to finance store renovations.[6] [7]
In 2023, Vorcaro became an investor in Brazilian football club Atlético-MG, with an initial investment of R$ 100 million in the club's Football Anonymous Society (SAF). [8] In 2024, he increased his investment to R$ 200 million, raising his stake to 20.2% of the shares. [9] Consequently, he joined the club's football committee.
