Daniel Iyobosa Okungbowa is a Nigerian jurist who serves as the Chief Judge of Edo State. The Edo State House of Assembly confirmed his appointment on 12 July 2023.[1] [2] He became a High Court Judge in Edo State in 2001.[1] Prior to his confirmation as Chief Judge, he served as the Acting Chief Judge of Edo State from 19 May 2023.[3]

Career

Justice Okungbowa has held various positions in the judiciary. He was appointed as a High Court Judge in 2001 and has since served in different roles within the judicial system of Edo State.[1] His tenure as Chief Judge is noted for the continuation of judicial reforms initiated by his predecessor.[3] [4]
