The seventeenth series of Dancing on Ice is set to begin airing on ITV in January 2025.[1] [2] During the finale of the sixteenth series, it was announced that Dancing on Ice had been renewed for another series.[3] [4] The series will once again be filmed in the purpose-built studio at Bovingdon Airfield, which was set up for the tenth series.[5] [6]
Stephen Mulhern and Holly Willoughby are expected to return as the hosts.[7] [8] Christopher Dean, Jayne Torvill, Ashley Banjo and Oti Mabuse will return to the judging panel.[9] [10]
On 28 October 2024, ITV official announced the line-up of professional skaters for the seventeenth series, with Simon Proulx-Sénécal, Robin Johnstone and Amani Fancy not returning. They were replaced by two new skaters Eric Radford and Molly Lanaghan.[11]
On 30 September 2024, Ferne McCann was announced as the first celebrity to be participating in the series.[12] More celebrities continued to be revealed throughout the week before the line-up was concluded on 7 October.[13]
