Damnice is a municipality and village in Znojmo District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 400 inhabitants.

Damnice lies approximately 26km (16miles) east of Znojmo, 37km (23miles) south-west of Brno, and 192km (119miles) south-east of Prague.

History

The first written mention of Damnice is from 1353.[2]
